Dropshipping Disclosure (FTC Required)

ShopSmart operates as a dropshipping platform. Products are shipped directly from our wholesale suppliers to your address. This means: (1) your package may arrive in supplier-branded packaging; (2) your order may ship from a location outside of Illinois; (3) delivery times depend on supplier fulfillment and carrier transit times. This disclosure is made in compliance with FTC regulations on material connections and endorsements.

Delivery times are estimates from the date of supplier shipment, not order placement. Processing time (1–3 business days) is additional.

Illinois Customers (Rockford / Winnebago County)

Illinois state sales tax (6.25%) plus Rockford city tax (1.25%) and Winnebago County tax (0.25%) — approximately 7.75% total — will be applied to all orders shipped to Illinois addresses, as required by Illinois law (35 ILCS 105/ Use Tax Act and 35 ILCS 120/ Retailers' Occupation Tax Act).

Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday–Friday. Orders placed after 2:00 PM Central Time or on weekends/holidays will be processed the next business day. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately and a shipping confirmation with tracking number when your order ships.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can also track your order at any time through your account at My Account → My Orders → Track. Tracking updates directly from the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL) and shows every step from shipment to delivery, including delivery confirmation photos where available.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

If your package is lost, stolen after delivery confirmation, or arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days at shopsmarterhere@hotmail.com with your order number and photos (if damaged). We will investigate with the carrier and work to resolve the issue, which may include replacement or refund at our discretion.

Risk of loss transfers to you upon carrier delivery confirmation. We are not responsible for packages stolen after delivery confirmation ("porch pirates"), but we will assist you in filing a carrier claim.

International Shipping

Currently, ShopSmart ships within the United States only. International shipping may be available for select products — check the product page or contact us for availability. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees.
